Dear Emi,

Jr. CyBearGuides have to be up to date on what’s happening in Build-a-Bearville so that they can help other citizens find all the fun stuff there is to do. That’s why to become (and stay) an active Jr. CyBearGuide, you have to have visited at least 12 days in the last 30 days. If you go on vacation for a whole month, you can always retake the test and join again.

There’s no need to rush out and buy a new room before your furry friend arrives. Each new furry friend you make comes with it’s beary own room when you bring it to life on line, plus at least 2,000 Bear bills so you can get started decorating! If you’d like to add a special room (like a kitchen or rooftop) you can find those at the LumBear Yard at the Marketplace.

To keep your furry friends’ tummies full, you’ll want to feed them whenever they’re hungry. When you are in your Cub Condo House, just double click on your furry friend and choose “Eat a snack” Your furry friend will help itself to a healthy apple!

Can you report a player if he or she keeps asking you to trade? - JennaApril57

Dear Jenna,

You should only report a player if he or she is doing something bad – like cheating. If someone keeps asking you to trade but you don’t want yo, just double click on their character and choose “Ignore.” They won’t be able to ask you to trade anymore and you won’t even see them on the screen! If you change your mind, just go to your Furbulous Friends List and click on their name under “Ignored.” You can choose to “Stop Ignoring” at any time.

When you first come to Build-A-Bearville, everyone starts out with the same set of emoticons and moves, but there are many different things you can do to add to your choices. Some furry friends, like Brown Sugar Puppy and Dimples Teddy, come with emoticons when you bring them to life online, and sometimes you can get new moves and emoticons by attending special events around town. The best thing to do is to make sure you read the Bearville Times each week so you know what cool things are happening and when and where to get FREE stuff!

New rooms are so much! To visit your basement, just go your Cub Condo house and click on the “Rooms” button on the right side of your screen. This will open a floor plan of your house. You can click on “Basement” under “Lower Level” to visit your new room!

Can you give me tips on how to play Kick-It-Quick? - RedRose175

Dear Red,

Getting a really good score on Kick-It-Quick takes practice, practice, and practice! When I play, I like to keep the sack in the middle for as long as I can by hitting it with my head (using the up arrow) and in the center with my feet (using the down arrow). When it starts going side-to-side, use the left and right arrow keys to kick out your paws, and if it looks like it’s going really far away, press the left or right arrow AND the down arrow at the same time to stretch out your leg. RememBEAR- practice makes pawfect!
